Sudden Death - On Monday last, near Denniston, Porter & Co.'s coal
works, Bennington, this county, Mr. Hugh Devlin, Sr., was found dead. 
It seems he was driving a wagon without a bed, and it is supposed he
fell off and was struck by the singletree, as, when found, the wheel
of the front carriage was on his back.  Deceased was about forty-five
years old.  Leaves a wife and five grown-up children.  The funeral was
a large one, and took place from St. Patrick's Catholic church, Tunnel
Hill, Wednesday.
