Johnstown Tribune of November 13. - Sister Mary Catharine, a member of the order of Sisters of Charity, expired at half-past 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the convent in the Sixteenth ward. She was taken ill on Sunday last with something like brain fever. The immediate cause of her death is given as apoplexy. The sister's remains were this morning taken to Greensburg, where, after a requiem mass to-morrow morning, they will be laid to rest in the cemetery connected with St. Joseph's academy. Deceased had been a member of the order seven years, having entered at Altoona. She came to Johnstown from Pittsburgh over a year ago. Her mother and numerous other relatives live in that city. One brother is a resident of the Twelfth ward of Johnstown. In the world the sister was known as Miss Nellie Diamond. The pallbearers were Edward Riley, John McGahan, James P. Green, P. F. McAney, Joseph Kelley and James Gaffney. They and several sisters and friends accompanied the remains to Greensburg. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, November 14, 1890
