DRASS Lifelong resident of Hollidaysburg, died at his home, 518 Montgomery street, at 9:30? o'clock Saturday night. He was born in Hollidaysburg on March 1, 1853, a son of John and Magdaline Drass, pioneer residents of the town. He was indentured as an apprentice pattern-maker in the McLanahan, Stone Machine company, following the trade for several years and then entering the general building business. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Gill) Drass, died six years ago. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, John N., Joseph F., and Benjamin T. Drass, all of Hollidaysburg, Isabella of Washington, D.C., and Mary, at home; thirty grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, Jacob Drass of Hollidaysburg. DRASS - Funeral services for the late John B. Drass of 518 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, will be held at St. Michael's church on Wednesday, 9 a.m; interment following in old St. Mary's cemetery.
