MRS. ELSIE EBERSOLE

Mrs. Elsie Ebersole, wife of Harvey Ebersole, of Fair Valley, east of 
Martinsburg, died Wednesday morning at the Nason hospital from a complication of 
diseases.  She had been admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.  Deceased was the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Westbrook, and was born at Williamsburg 37 years 
ago.  On Thanksgiving Day, 1904, she was united in marriage with Harvey 
Ebersole, of near Martinsburg.  She is survived by her husband and parents and 
these children:  Gertrude, Paul, Thelma, Helen and Dorothy, all at home.  Also 
by these brothers and sisters:  David and Elvin Westbrook, of Williamsburg; Mrs. 
John Weitzel, of Lakemont; Mrs. Harvey Eastep, of Williamsburg, and Miss Nellie, 
at home.

The news of her sudden demise was a shock to her many friends, few being aware 
of her illness, she having been in town with friends on Saturday evening.  The 
bereaved husband and children have the sincere sympathy of the entire community 
in their great loss, as Mrs. Ebersole was a good wife and mother, an excellent 
neighbor, and will be missed by a large circle of friends.  She was a lifelong 
member of the Lutheran church.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 
morning at 10 o'clock, in St. Matthew's Lutheran church at this place, by the 
pastor, Rev. D. L. Shaffer.
