Gleason, who died on Oct. 9 of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza at Camp Sherman, Chillicothe, O., arrived at the home of his wife, Mrs. Margaret W. Gleason in Bellwood yesterday morning. Private Gleason, who entered the army some months ago, was assigned as a cook in the Eighteenth company and some weeks ago, while engaged in his work, he scratched his left arm on a nail, blood poisoning later setting in. The arm was amputated recently and while the soldier was recuperating he contracted pneumonia. The funeral will be held from the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Wills, Bellwood, at 2.30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Surviving are the wife, the mother, Mrs. Sarah Gleason of Gallion, O., two brothers, Fred and Frank of Gallion, O., and two sisters, May of Akron, O., and Sarah of Gallion, O.
