GLUNT Of 301 Willow avenue, died in the Altoona hospital at 8 o'clock last evening after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, March 24, 1893, a son of Charles and Alice (Fommer) Glunt. Surviving are his wife, Retta (Fluke) Glunt; six children, Mrs. Ada Forsht of Grandview, Mrs. Gladys Miller and Walter of the city, Mrs. Janet Burket of Hollidaysburg, Charles of Keats, Kans., and Robert of Akron O.; 15 grandchildren, his mother Mrs. Alice Shaffer of Juniata, and one sister, Mrs. Violet Swartz of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Glunt was a member of the First Church of God, the Men's Bible class and choir and a member of the Altoona Rescue Mission chorus. He retired in 1941 after 32 years of service and was a member of the B. of R.T. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home, Juniata, from moon tomorrow until 10 o'clock Tuesday morning and thereafter at the church.
