LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Samuel A. Greer, of Ohio, a brother of A. J. Greer, of Altoona, was 
run over and killed by the cars at Washington Court House, in that 
State, one day last week.  Deceased had been employed on the railroads 
in that for upwards of twenty years.  He was aged 49 years, and leaves 
a wife and two children to mourn his sad death.
