CELIA (HERZOG) KARP Of 1941 West Chestnut avenue, died yesterday morning at 8.30 o'clock at her home. She was the widow of Isaac Karp, who died in 1939. Mrs. Karp was born Aug. 19, 1876, in Austria, the daughter of Aaron and Goldie (Horn) Herzog. Surviving are 10 children, Mrs. Charles Goldfarb and Mrs. Nathan Brande, both of Altoona; Mrs. Samuel Lebowitz and Mrs. Samuel Linder of Pittsburgh, Abraham, Mrs. Henry Kolb and Alexander, all of Altoona; Morris of Clearfield, Mrs. Harry Kamenshine of Birmingham, Ala., and Murrill of New York; 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Abe of Altoona and Jack Herzog of New York, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Singerman of Brooklyn. Mrs. Karp was a member of Agudath Achim congregation, Senior Hadassah and Agudath Achim sisterhood. She came to America in 1898 and had been a resident of Altoona for 50 years.
