He was born in Duncannon on July 2, 1874, a son of Jacob S. and Clara Alice (Shirk) Matlock. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stella Julia (McCracken) Matlock; two sons, Carl L. and Irvin S., of Juniata; one granddaughter, three brothers and three sisters, Cyrus and Joseph, of the city, James of New Millport, Mrs. D. S. Connor and Mrs. Harry Cross of the city and Mrs. John Black of Juniata. Mr. Matlock was a member of the Juniata Presbyterian church and of Bellview lodge, I.O.O.F. The body may be viewed at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. MATLOCK - Funeral services for William Bruce Matlock of 409 Sixth avenue, Juniata, will be conducted by Rev. W. L. Nicholson of the Juniata Presbyterian church, at the home Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment in Grandview cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
