MRS. MARGARET McCOOL.

  At 11 o'clock a.m. Saturday Mrs. Margaret McCool died of diseases 
incident to old age at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. E. Crook, 
1429 Fifth avenue.  The deceased was aged 76 years and was born in 
County Cork, Ireland.  She has been in America for forty-three years 
and has been a resident of Altoona for ten years.  Her husband preceded 
her to the grave three years ago.  She is survived by one son and two 
daughters, viz.: John W. McCool, of Lilly; Mrs. W. H. Maher, of 
Altoona, and Mrs. W. E. Crook, with whom she spent her last years.  She 
was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church.
  The remains will be taken to Lilly, Cambria county, on accommodation 
to-morrow morning for interment.
