An account of whose accident on the Bell's Gap railroad was given in Saturday's MIRROR, died from the effects of his injuries yesterday morning, at his home in Bellwood. He was born in Logan township on April 3, 1851. He is survived by his wife, a daughter of Mrs. Frank Devine, and two sons, William and John of Bellwood; also five sisters: Mrs. Robert Nelson and Mrs. John Mathews of Logan township, two sisters in the east and Mrs. Edward Irwin of Nebraska. Mr. Miller was a faithful member of the Methodist church for twenty years and a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows for seven years and belonged to the K[n]ights of the Mystic Chain. The funeral services will be conducted in the Methodist church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. J. B. Stein; interment in Logan Valley cemetery. Altoona Mirror, February 11, 1895
