Miller, proprietor of the Miller Medical institute of 601 Seventh avenue, and Mrs. Maria E. Miller, died yesterday morning at 6:20 o'clock, of typhoid fever, following an attack of grip. While convalescing from an attack of grip, typhoid fever developed two weeks ago and since that time she has been confined to her home. She was born in Gallitzin, Nov. 3, 1883, and when a small child came with her parents to this city, where she has resided since. She was an attendant at the Altoona High school for two years and later attended Dickinson seminary at Williamsport, and later graduated from the Philadelphia Art school. She was a member of the First Lutheran church. Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Drs. Proctor T. and Homer C., both of this city, and D. Haven Miller, of Pittsburg. Funeral service will be held at the parental residence, 601 Seventh avenue, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. O. C. Roth.
