MISS MARY A. MILLER

Of 2620 West Chestnut avenue, died at 12.05 o'clock this morning at 
Mercy hospital after one week's illness.  She was born in Harrisburg, a 
daughter of Morris P. and Susan (Smith) Miller.  Miss Miller was a 
graduate of the Fountain Springs, Pa., hospital and the Women's 
hospital, New York, and had engaged in the profession of nursing for a 
number of years.  She was a member of the Broad Avenue Presbyterian 
church.  Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. E. C. Zinn of New York, Mrs. 
C. H. Reed of Jackson, Mich., and Mrs. L. L. Banks of Altoona.  Friends 
may call at the Lafferty funeral home after 7 o'clock Thursday evening.

MILLER - Funeral services for Miss Mary A. Miller of 2620 West Chestnut 
avenue, will be held at the funeral home of John P. Lafferty at 11 
o'clock Friday morning by Rev. Carl E. Swanberg.  Friends may call at 
the Lafferty funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.  Following the 
services Friday the body will be taken to the Hawkins funeral home, 
Harrisburg, where friends will be received after 7 o'clock Friday 
evening.  Further services and interment will be in Harrisburg on 
Saturday at 2 p.m.
