ROSEANNAH MONTGOMERY Wife of Joseph Lee Montgomery, died at 8.30 o'clock this morning after a long illness at the home of a son, Joseph Montgomery, 1327 Jackson avenue. She was born at Ray's cove, Bedford county, on April 20, 1874, a daughter of Wilson and Jane (Dunlap) Drenning. Surviving are her husband, the following children: Joseph, John and Blain, all of Altoona, Mrs. Fay Ferrara of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Josephine Reagers of Lewistown, and Mrs. Dorothy Stringfellow of the city; 10 grandchildren, and four brothers, Louis Drenning of the city, Robert of Heustown, Irvin of Woodale and Charles of Boyersville?. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Calvary Baptist church and active in welfare work. Friends will be received at the home after noon Wednesday. MONTGOMERY - Funeral services for Mrs. Roseannah Montgomery, 1327 Jackson avenue, will be held Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the Calvary Baptist church in charge of Rev. Elmer Horner. Interment in Alto-Reste burial park. Friends are being received at the home until 11 o'clock Friday morning after which the body may be viewed at the church. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, May 14, 1946
