Morrison, formerly of 1117 Seventeenth street, this city, and formerly editor of the Newton Hamilton Watchman, died at the home of Mrs. Harry B. Wharton, of Ride, Saturday morning of diabetes, following a lengthy illness. He was aged about 69 years and was formerly engaged in business here with Frank Zumsteg, at 336 Chestnut avenue. He is survived by his wife, who will accompany the body here at 12:50 this morning. The funeral services will be held at Lafferty & Tobias funeral chapel, 1010 Chestnut avenue, at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning, followed by burial in Grandview cemetery. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge at Lafayette, Ind., and was an honorary member of camp 321 P.O.S. of A., Huntingdon. He was also a member of the Altoona Society of Christian Science. He was editor of the Newton Hamilton Watchman for many years and gave up the editorial work owing to ill health. Mrs. Morrison will be at the LeRoy hotel today and until after the funeral.
