All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ JOHN MOUNTAIN A prominent Frankstown township farmer and well known lumberman, dropped dead about 3 o'clock, yesterday afternoon, at his saw mill in the Loop, near his home, of heart failure. The deceased was 59 years old and had been a resident of Frankstown township all his life, where he followed agricultural pursuits and lumbering. He was an upright citizen and a man of sterling business integrity. He had been complaining of heart failure for the past three years, but yesterday was even more cheerful than usual. He was laughing and chatting with the mill hands, when he was suddenly stricken down and fell dead without uttering a word. He is survived by his wife, one daughter and two sons, Miss Mary, and William, at home, and John, a fireman on the Pittsburg division; also three brothers and two sisters - Ashbury and David of Frankstown township; Samuel of Clearfield county; Mrs. Jacob Wertz and Mrs. William Wertz, both of Frankstown township.
