MRS. EFFA MAE OLEWINE

Wife of Arthur R. Olewine of 304 Coleridge avenue, died at 5:45 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon in Mercy hospital where she was admitted Saturday 
afternoon after a brief illness.  She was born in Altoona June 13, 1878, a 
daughter of Edward and Laura (Reed) Stiffler.  Surviving are her husband, 
one son, William E. Olewine, a granddaughter, Ardith; five sisters and one 
brother, Mrs. W. L. McCullough, Mrs. R. H. Joyce, Mrs. Frank Claybaugh and 
Lloyd Stiffler, of the city, Miss Nellie of Martinsburg and Mrs. Hettie 
McGrath of Cleveland, O.  Mrs. Olewine was a charter member of the Llyswen 
Methodist church, the Ladies' Bible class, the Dames of Malta and Pythian 
Sisters.  Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home from 7 o'clock 
this evening until 11 o'clock Wednesday morning and thereafter at the 
Llyswen Methodist church.
