PATTON Of 2812 Sixth avenue, retired head linesman of the Altoona & Logan Valley Electric Railway company, died suddenly at his home at 8 o'clock last evening of a heart attack suffered as he returned from a walk. He was born on June 26, 1863, in Juniata county, a son of Thomas and Rebecca Patton. His wife, Mrs. Martha (McCahan) Patton, died ten years ago. Mr. Patton retired five years ago. Surviving are two sons, Arthur, with whom he resided, and Roy of Red Lion; three grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, Harvey Patton of Coin, Ia., Joseph of the city, and Mrs. Rebecca Newlon of Colony, Kans. Mr. Patton was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Odd Fellows. Friends will be received at the Gilden funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
