Ravenhill, a private in Company A, 84th regiment, P. V., who was wounded in the thigh by a minie ball, at the battle of Winchester, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Philadelphia, on Saturday night last. His remains arrived here on Monday morning and were conveyed to the Fencibles' Armory, where they lay until Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, when they were escorted to their final resting place in the Lutheran cemetery.
