THOMAS ROPER DEAD

  Thomas Roper, aged 31, of the Union hotel, died at the Altoona 
hospital at 10:10 o'clock last night, forty minutes after being 
admitted to the institution.  Death was caused by lobar pneumonia.  He 
was an employe of the Postal Telegraph company.

FUNERAL NOTICES.

  The funeral services of Thomas C. Roper will be held from the Hickey 
and O'Neil undertaking establishment at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon.  
Burial in Fairview cemetery.
