After a lingering illness of consumption Margaret Rorabaugh died at 1.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence of her brother-in- law, Thomas L. Houck, 1914 Pine Street. She was a native of Woodbury township, this county, where she was born in September, 1841, so that she had passed her 58th year at the time of her death. She had been a resident of Altoona for many years, during all of which time she was a faithful member of the Chestnut Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. She is survived by one son, Charles C. Blake, and by the following sisters: Mrs. George M. Metz, Mrs. Frederick Ulrick, Mrs. J. H. Bohn, Mrs. W. H. Schwartz, of this city, and Mrs. Andrew Riley of Williamsburg, and Mrs. Thomas R. Davis, of Juniata. She had many friends in this county, all of whom, knowing her goodness of heart, and her many other excellent qualities, will sincerely mourn her death. Her funeral will take place from 1914 Pine street at 3 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon. The interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
