P. Shaw, of near Newry, Friday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock. Death was due to diabetes. He was born February 10, 1823, and was the son of James and Catherine Shaw, both deceased. His wife died a number of years ago and he is survived by five children: Mrs. Jennie Smith, of Poplar Run; A. P. Shaw, at whose home he died; L. F., Juniata; H. B., Columbus, O., and Mrs. Clara Taylor, of Los Angeles, Cal. One sister, Mrs. Margaret Robinson, residing in a western state, also survives. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Pine Grove United Brethren church, followed by burial at the church cemetery.
