Shoenfelt of Taylor township, died at her home Wednesday morning, Nov. 1, at 6.30 o'clock, of paralysis. She was born in Blair county, Aug. 20, 1831, and at the time of her demise was aged 84 years, 2 months and 11 days. Thirty-one years ago Mrs. Shoenfelt united with the German Reformed church and had since been a consistent christian woman, loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed in her home and by a large circle of friends. She is survived by her husband, George M. Shoenfelt and nine children: Mrs. Ella Myers of Woodbury, Mrs. Sarah Snowberger of Altoona, Horace of East Sharpsburg, Allen of Roaring Spring, J. Blair of Bolivia, S.A., George of Muskogee, Okla., Adam of Greensburg, Daniel of Altoona, Edward at home. She is also survived by three brothers and sisters: Mrs. David Shoeman of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Lew Davis and Mrs. Henry Barr of Martinsburg, George and Henry Burket of Dallas Center, Ia., David and Daniel Burket of Martinsburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 3, at 2 o'clock p.m. at her late home. Interment in the Earlenbaugh cemetery.
