NAOMI V. SIPES

Of Duncansville RD 2 died at 4:20 p.m. Friday, March 2, 1979, in Nason 
Hospital, Roaring Spring, after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 13, 
1899, in Altoona, the daughter of Conrad R. and Gloria (Sell) Powell, 
and married Floyd A. Sipes, who died Sept. 29, 1972. Surviving are four 
children, Floyd R. of Altoona, Jay M. of Martinsburg, Mrs. Carol Bowser 
of Hampton, Va., and Paul of Cresson; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Sipes was a member of the Newry Lutheran Church. 
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 
Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville.

SIPES - Private services for Naomi V. Sipes of Duncansville RD 2, will 
be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, 
Duncansville, by the Rev. Robert Westerberg. Interment in Alto-Reste 
Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in 
the funeral home.
