MRS. ANNA BELLE SMITH

Formerly of Bellemead, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William P. McCauley of 
405 North Ninth street, Bellwood, this morning at 6.10 o'clock.  She was born in 
Altoona March 3, 1908, a daughter of William R. and Nellie (Meek) Cherry, and 
was the wife of Paul Smith.  Surviving are her husband, a sister, Mrs. Gene 
Contrad of Altoona, and two brothers, Leroy L. of Juniata and Robert A. of 
DuBois.  Mrs. Smith was a member of the Fifth Avenue Methodist church, of the 
Glad-U-Come Sunday school class, choir and Woman's Society of Christian Service 
of the church.  She also held membership in the Maccabees.  Friends will be 
received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home, Juniata, after noon Thursday until 11 
o'clock Saturday morning and thereafter at the Fifth Avenue Methodist church.
