All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ CLAUDE KELLER STAHL A former resident of Altoona and widely known as Jack Stahl and for thirty-five years an employee of the Pennsylvania railroad, died last night at 8 o'clock at his home, 516 Essex avenue, Narberth, of a stroke of apoplexy. Altoona relatives were called east yesterday. Mr. Stahl was born on June 19, 1885, at Centre Hall. He was employed as a clerk in the superintendent of motive power office in Altoona and was transferred to Broad street, Philadelphia, some years ago. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emman Hawthorne Stahl; one step-son, Thomas, at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Stahl of Centre Hall, and two brothers, C. A. and B. F. Stahl, both of Altoona, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Snyder of Altoona. Burial will be made Thursday. Altoona Mirror, August 9, 1938, Page 18
