Steckman, Wife of George Steckman, died at the home of her husband in Allegheny, at 4.30 o'clock yesterday morning, of typhoid fever, aged 20 years, 11 months and 27 days. The deceased's maiden name was McMullin, she being a daughter of Alexander McMullin of this city. Her marriage took place on December 24, 1891, and was celebrated at the home of Robert Cox of 611 Willow avenue with whom she had made her home for two years previous. She was a member of the Union Methodist church at Allegheny and has many friends here who will be grieved to learn of her death. Her husband and two children, Ermal [Erma?] Caroline and Robert, survive to mourn their loss. Her father, six sisters and one brother also survive her. The sisters are: Mrs. Cecelia Hagerty of Wilmerding, Mrs. Mary Irvin, Mrs. Fred. Steckman and Misses Margaret, Ella and Mariah, all of this city. The brother is Edward McMullen also of this place. The remains were brought to this city on day express and placed in the vault at Fairview. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock; interment in Fairview.
