GEORGE KELLER SUTER

Of Avis, Clinton county, died yesterday morning of injuries received 
when he was struck by a truck on the highway near Avis. He was born in 
Frankstown township, Blair county, Oct. 29, 1876, the son of James E. 
and Catharine M. Suter. Surviving are these brothers and sister:  
William S. Suter of Williamsburg, Mrs. Victor Kelly of Clappertown and 
Harry C. Suter of Avis. Mr. Suter was educated in the Woodbury township 
schools and was a member of the Lutheran church of Lock Haven, the 
I.O.O.F., the Williamsport Masonic organizations and the Williamsport 
consistory. Mr. Suter had been employed as a carpenter for the New York 
Central railroad until his retirement four years ago. Friends will be 
received at the Bechtel funeral home, Williamsburg, after noon Sunday.
