He was born in Frankstown township, Blair county, Oct. 29, 1876, the son of James E. and Catharine M. Suter. Surviving are these brothers and sister: William S. Suter of Williamsburg, Mrs. Victor Kelly of Clappertown and Harry C. Suter of Avis. Mr. Suter was educated in the Woodbury township schools and was a member of the Lutheran church of Lock Haven, the I.O.O.F., the Williamsport Masonic organizations and the Williamsport consistory. Mr. Suter had been employed as a carpenter for the New York Central railroad until his retirement four years ago. Friends will be received at the Bechtel funeral home, Williamsburg, after noon Sunday.
