MRS. VERNA M. VIPOND

Of Canoe Creek, died at her home at 8.30 yesterday after an extended illness.  
She was born in Clearfield Sept. 2, 1900, a daughter of Latisov and Mary 
(Stark) Fabian, and on May 25, 1921, married Hobart Vipond in St. Mary's 
Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.  Surviving are her husband, one daughter, 
Joyce, at home; a brother and five sisters, John and Mrs. Anna Hermesky of 
Altoona, Mrs. Marie Caldwell, Mrs. Agnes Killmyer and Mrs. Helen Viccola of 
Pittsburgh and Mrs. Nellie Schetick of Clearfield.  She was a member of St. 
Mary's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.  Friends will be received at the 
Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 p.m. today.
