Mrs. Catharine Vogt died at the residence of her son, William Vogt, Main and Bridge streets, on Wednesday evening at 6.10, after a short illness. She was born February 4, 1811, and was aged 80 years, 2 months and 18 days. Fuller particulars will be given in to-morrow's "Topics." Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, April 23, 1891 TYRONE TOPICS. Mrs. Catharine Vogt, a brief notice of whose death we gave in "Topics" yesterday morning, was born in Koenigsbach, Bavaria. In March, 1852, she, then being a widow, with her two sons Frederick A. and William emigrated to this country settling at Union Furnace, and afterwards removing to Newry, this county, and from thence to this town in 1855, where she has ever since made her home with her son William, the now only remaining member of her immediate family. The remains will be taken to Saint Matthew's chapel on Cameron street on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, where requiem mass will be celebrated by Rev. Father Gallagher.
