PAUL T. WERTZ

Of 2623 Union avenue, died at the Mercy hospital at 12.30 o'clock this 
morning.  He was born in the city on Oct. 11, 1895, a son of Grant and Alice 
(Re__) Wertz and on Aug 2, 1917, was united in marriage with Miss Mary Grace 
Anderson.  Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mary Grace, his father and 
one brother, Donald E. Wertz, all of the city.  Mr. Wertz was a member of the 
First Baptist church and was employed as a machinist in the South Altoona 
shops.  The body may be viewed at the home where funeral services will be 
held at 2.30 o'clock Monday afternoon.  Interment will be made in Fairview 
cemetery, Martinsburg.
