Whippo, aged 62, of 526 Eighth avenue, Juniata, proprietor of a novelty store at 618 Fourth avenue, Juniata, died suddenly in the store at 10.20 o'clock this morning of a heart attack, according to Deputy Coroner Edgar G. Walls. He was born in Burnham April 25, 1886, a son of Curtin and Mary (Dunmire) Whippo, and as a young man was employed on the railroad. For the past 24 years he had been engaged in business in Juniata. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Matilda (Houck) Whippo; his father, one brother and two sisters, William of Juniata, Miss Anna R. of the city and Mrs. Hazel W. French of Mt. Holly, N.J. Mr. Whippo was a member of the First Methodist church, Juniata, of the Bradford, O., F. and A.M. and the Scottish Rite Masons of Dayton, O. Friends will be received at the home after 6 o'clock Sunday evening.
