He was born in Juniata township on Dec. 4, 1868, a son of Fred S. and Catherine (Kunsman) Wilt, and his early life was spent there. later he engaged in the lumber and mining business in Cambria county and for some time had resided in Newry. Surviving are his father, aged 94, and his step-mother, both of Newry, two brothers and one sister, J. Albert and Howard Wilt, both of Duncansville, and Mrs. Nora Moyer of Newry. A brother, Homer D. Wilt, preceded him in death. The body may be viewed at the home of his sister Mrs. Nora Moyer, at Newry, at any time after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted in the Newry Lutheran church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be made in the church cemetery.
