The many friends of Mr. Lloyd Cooper, of this city, will be interested in the announcement of the marriage of that gentleman to Miss Ada G. Weidenhamer, of Milton, Pa. The marriage took place in that thriving town on Wednesday last. The Tribune hopes that their voyage through life will be one of happiness as well as prosperity. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, January 30, 1891 Grand Wedding. On Wednesday evening, the 28th of January last, the residence of William Weidenhamer, esq., in Pleasant Valley, about one mile from Milton, Northumberland county, Pa., was the scene of activity and brilliancy, the occasion being the marriage of his daughter, Ada Gertrude, to Mr. Lloyd Cooper, of Altoona, Pa. Notwithstanding the inclemency of the evening many of the invited guests assembled in good time, so that the spacious house was filled to overflowing. Punctually at the time appointed, Professor Gresh, of Milton, seated at the organ in the hall, caused the instrument to pour forth the beautiful strains of the wedding march to the delight and satisfaction of all present. Presently the bride and groom were ushered into the bridal parlor, preceded by their waiters, Mr. Edward Weidenhamer, of Lock Haven, with Miss Emma Cooper, of Altoona, and Mr. Herbert Kutz, of Milton, with Miss Cora I. Seidel, of Reading, Pa., whereupon Rev. J. M. Reimensnyder, pastor of the Lutheran church at Milton, Pa., stepped forward, and in his impressive manner pronounced the ceremony that united the two hearts into one. After over a hundred congratulations had been extended to the happy couple all were invited to a sumptuous repast provided for the occasion. The bride was the recipient of quite a large number of costly presents, both useful and ornamental. At about 3 o'clock, p.m., the bridal party were driven to the depot, where they took the train for Washington City, etc., to spend the honeymoon.
