JOHNSTON - McDERMOTT.

  Mr. William Grant Johnston and Miss Alberta E. McDermott, both of 
this city, were married at 6 o'clock last evening by Justice of the 
Peace W. B. Fickes, of Logan township.  The ring ceremony was used.  
The wedding march was played by Professor Joseph Askew, and following 
the ceremony a splendid wedding supper was served at the home of the 
bride's sister, Mrs. Cecelia Yingling.  A large number of friends and 
relatives were in attendance, including Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Yingling 
and Mr. and Mrs. John Knotts.  The groom is employed in the manual 
training department of the Altoona High school and because of shortage 
of help at the institution the couple will postpone their wedding tour 
until the summer months.  They will be at home to their friends in 
their newly furnished home at 3613 Fifth avenue.
