N.Y., Aug. 7, when T/Sgt. Julia Fleck Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Fleck, 1203 Washington avenue, Tyrone, became the bride of Cpl. Roy Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gustav Larsen of Whitestone, L.I. Capt. Vardeen, the post chaplain, officiated. The couple was attended by T/Sgt. and Mrs. Winston Faircloth of Fort Hamilton, as best man and matron of honor, and the ushers were Cpl. Arnold Lepone and Sgt. Andrew Lee, also of the post. The lovely bride wore a grey crepe dress with grey accessories, white gloves and spray of pink rosebuds. The matron of honor was attired in a green crepe dress with matching accessories, white gloves and spray of yellow rosebuds. The gentlemen of the wedding party were in full military dress. The bride is a graduate ot the Warrior's Mark-Franklin High school. She has served in the Women's Army corps for the past five years and two months, 13 months of which were served in sea duty. The bridegroom attended the Bronx Vocational High school in New York city. He has a service of six years in the army, two years being in overseas service. Following the ceremony, an informal reception was held In the N.C.O. club of the post. The couple will spend their wedding trip with the bride's parents in Tyrone, returning to duty at Fort Hamilton, Aug. 15. Attending the wedding ceremony were the bride's parents and her brother Frank, the parents and three sisters of the bridegroom and a number of other relatives and friends.
