Mr. Robert Lauder, of Harrisburg, and Miss Margaret McCartney Whitehead, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Whitehead, of 1220 Eighteenth avenue, were united in marriage at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church by the Rev. George R. Bishop. They were attended by Miss Martha V. Whitehead, sister of the bride, and Mrs. William Lauder, jr., a brother of the bridegroom. Only the immediate relatives attended the ceremony. Miss Whitehead was attired in a traveling suit and hat and wore a corsage bouquet of parma violets. The newlyweds left at 4:02 o'clock the same afternoon for a short wedding trip through the south and on their return will take up their residence in Philadelphia. Mr. Lauder is a son of William Lauder, secretary of the industrial board, department of labor and industry, and is a mining engineer.
