HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  Miss Francina, daughter of Mr. A. K. Shimer, and Mr. David Pringle,, 
of Pitcairn, Pa., were happily married at the bride's home on Union 
street, Gaysport, last evening at 8 o'clock, by the Rev. Dr. A. S. 
Bowman, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church.  The attendants were 
Miss Martha Shimer, sister of the bride, and Mr. Taylor Grumbling, of 
Pitcairn.  The young couple, amidst the congratulations of their 
numerous friends, left on a three weeks' bridal tour to the eastern 
seaside resorts.  Upon their return, they will reside at Pitcairn where 
the groom is employed as a passenger conductor.
