W. Thomson, principal assistant engineer of the Pennsylvania railroad of this city, and Miss Jessie M. Green, of Philadelphia, were married at the Northminster Presbyterian church, Philadelphia, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the presence of the immediate families and a few invited guests by the pastor, assisted by Rev. J. L. Russell, formerly pastor of the Second Presbyterian church of this city. Mr. Thomson is engaged as an engineer by a large railroad contracting firm and is an exemplary young man. Miss Green is the daughter of M. A. Green and was formerly one of this city's popular young ladies. The happy couple left immediately on an extended trip through the south and east.
