WALTON - UPDYKE.

  Mr. J. H. Walton and Miss Bessie Updyke, both estimable young people of 
this city, were quietly married at Bedford, Pa., on Sept. 31, by the Rev. 
Stephens.  The happy couple after the ceremony journeyed to Philadelphia, 
where they took up their residence.  Mr. Walton is an exemplary young man, 
of excellent habits and his wife is well qualified to make him a good 
helpmeet through life.  Mr. and Mrs. Walton are visiting their parents in 
this city.
