Friday, December 18, 1903 Mrs. Elizabeth Bertram Mrs. Elizabeth Bertram, relict of the late Peter Bertram, of Carrolltown, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. A. Englehart in the West ward, Ebensburg, at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, aged eighty- five years. Her death was due to illness incident to old age. The deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Francis Farren of Munster township; Felix Bertram of Carrolltown; John, Henry and Thomas Bertram of Altoona; Agnes, wife of Joseph Link of Ebensburg; Julia, wife of Deputy Register and Recorder H. A. Englehart of Ebensburg and Joseph Bertram of Pittsburg. The funeral took place at Carrolltown at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, the funeral cortege proceeding overland from Ebensburg. After a high mass of requiem in St. Benedict's Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a life long member, interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
