Mrs. Nancy Bowers Dead 
Jackson Township Woman Expired at the Age of Seventy-Six
Nant-y-Glo, Jan. 7

Nancy Bowers, a well known resident of Jackson Township, is 
dead at her home at the ripe old age of seventy-six years, 
eight months and twenty-eight days.  Her death was caused 
by dropsy and diseases incident to old age.  Mrs. Bowers is 
survived by her husband, Isaac Bowers and the following 
children:  Mary Bowers of Jackson Township; George W. of 
the Seventeenth Ward, Johnstown; William of Mitchell's 
Mill, Indiana County; Ellen of Morrellville, Johnstown and 
Isaac Jr. of Vinco. The funeral took place Thursday at 
Munday's church, the Rev. Bauman of Vinco conducting the 
services.
