The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: October 21, 1871
Died, in Allegheny township, on Friday last, Oct. 13th, Mrs. Margaret Carney, relict
of Daniel Carney, Sr., aged about 80 years. The deceased was born in the county
Derry, Ireland, and was there married to her late husband and became the mother of
six children, all boys. She came to this country in the year l850, and one year
thereafter removed with her family to this county, where she resided until the time
of her death. Her husband preceded her to the grave some twelve months or more ago,
but all her offspring are still living, and all but one of them we believe reside in
this county...
