Varieties and Local Notes.

  William Cole, a sort of recluse living at Gallitzen, Cambria county, 
was found in his cabin on Saturday morning with his throat cut from ear 
to ear, and quite dead.  He was an industrious laboring man, with but 
little intercourse with the world.  An inquest was held by Esq. 
Bradley, and a verdict in accordance with the facts as he restated 
rendered.
