The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: April 01, 1871
Died, in Chest township, on last Saturday, Mr. Mathias Deitrick, aged about 60
years. Mr. Deitrich's father came from Germany to this country in 1834 and located
in the celebrated and well known "Glen Connell Settlement," which was then within
the limits of Allegheny township, but afterwards became part of Clearfield township,
only again to be transferred to Chest in the formation of the latter township ...
