The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: October 28, 1852
At his residence in Allegheny township, on the 23d inst., Mr. Paul Donoughe, aged 70
years. Mr. Donoughe was an early settler in Cambria and witnessed its growth from
infancy to manhood. He was one of the pioneers of the forest, and lived to see the
once heavily timbered earth blossom as the rose. Old age, with its attendant
infirmities, has taken him away and thereby removed one of the links that bound the
present and the past together.
