Friday, February 5, 1904 Volume XXXVIII, Number 6 James A. Davis James A. Davis, aged nineteen years, died at 5:15 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Memorial Hospital, having been brought to Johnstown the night before from Portage by his father, James H. Davis. The young man had been sick for three weeks. The cause of his death was peritonitis. He was a miner at Puritan, near Portage. The remains were taken to Portage Tuesday afternoon for burial.
