The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: January 20, 1870
At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Thos. B. Moore, in Pittsburgh, Mrs.
Elizabeth Gibson, relict of Mathew Gibson, Esq., formerly of Philadelphia, aged 81
years and 6 months. Mrs. Gibson was a former resident of Ebensburg, where one of her
children, Mrs Joseph McDonald, still resides, and previous to her death expressed a
desire to be buried here. In accordance with that wish, her remains have been
brought to this place and will be interred in the Catholic cemetery at 10 o'clock
today. Full of years and greatly esteemed, she has been called to her final account,
and bereaved relatives and sorrowing friends join in fervent prayer for her
spiritual welfare. May she rest in peace.
