Thomas Gittings 

Thomas Gettings (sic), a former resident of Altoona, died Tuesday at the University of Pennsylvania 
Hospital, Philadelphia, of a complication of diseases, aged thirty-eight years.  Mr. Gettings was born 
in Cambria County and was employed as a carpenter in the PRR shops in Altoona.  In 1890 he was 
united in marriage to Miss Winifred Gates of Ashville. His wife died in 1907.  He is survived by four 
children and one brother.
