The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: November 05, 1868
In Carroll township, on Friday night, 30th ult., Mr. Jacob Hoover, at the venerable
age of 89 years. Mr. Hoover was one of the oldest settlers of Carroll township, and
was highly respected by all his neighbors. He was the father of a large family, many
of whom are now heads of families and are among the most worthy citizens of the
north of our county.
